How many seats or users does Bildstak need?

Bildstak is priced per project, not per seat — so the whole project team can use it without counting users. One project licence covers the project manager, QS, BIM coordinator, contract admin and anyone else who needs to ask questions of the project data.

Per-seat pricing creates a predictable problem on construction projects: the people who most need access to data are spread across disciplines and firms, and seat costs add up fast. Bildstak avoids this with per-project pricing — one licence per project, covering the whole team.

What that means in practice:

  • No seat counting. Project managers, quantity surveyors, BIM coordinators, contract administrators, commercial managers, schedulers — everyone on the project uses the same licence.
  • No approval friction for adding users. When a new team member joins the project, they get access without a procurement cycle.
  • Predictable cost for procurement. The project licence is a known line in the project budget, not a variable that grows with headcount.
  • Scales to portfolio. Multiple projects are multiple licences — straightforward to model for a programme or portfolio.

Add-on modules (Claims Builder, the Analyst, and others) are attached at the project level too, so there is no per-user component anywhere in the pricing.

For large programmes with dozens of concurrent projects, or for platform/SDK embedding scenarios, we discuss volume terms in the scoping call. The goal is pricing that is simple to explain to procurement and predictable over the life of the project.
