How is Bildstak different from Procore or Aconex?

Procore and Aconex are document and workflow management platforms — they create and store RFIs, submittals and documents. Bildstak connects to them and joins their data with BIM, schedule and cost, so you can query across all sources at once and build cross-system evidence for claims and programme analysis.

Procore and Aconex are excellent at what they do: managing the flow of documents, RFIs, submittals and correspondence on a project. They are systems of record and workflow. They are not designed to answer questions that cross into the schedule or the cost ledger, or to correlate an RFI overrun with a programme delay and a contract entitlement.

What Bildstak adds on top of — not instead of — your document platform: - Reads your Procore or Aconex RFI register live and joins every RFI to the BIM element it concerns, the schedule activity affected, and the cost line impacted. - Shows ball-in-court status, overdue items, and response-time trends across both systems in one view. - Lets you ask 'which RFIs issued against Package 3 in the last 60 days are still open and what activities do they affect?' — a question that requires joining Procore data with a Primavera P6 schedule. - Feeds the Claims Builder: the RFI trail from Procore or Aconex becomes the contemporaneous record linking a delay cause to a programme impact to a contract clause.

Bildstak is not a replacement for Procore or Aconex — your teams keep using them as they always have. Bildstak is the intelligence layer that makes the data those platforms hold answerable in context with everything else on the project.
