Can Bildstak connect to a custom REST API or ERP?

Yes, Bildstak includes a custom REST API / ERP connector that can integrate with systems that are not covered by its native connectors. If your organisation runs a proprietary ERP, a bespoke project management tool, or a system with a REST API, Bildstak can connect to it.

How the custom connector works:

• Endpoint configuration — you provide the base URL and the API paths for the resources you want to read (cost records, work orders, plant movements, etc.).
• Authentication — the connector supports OAuth 2.0 client credentials, OAuth 2.0 authorisation code, API key and basic authentication methods.
• Recurring sync — Bildstak polls the API on a configured schedule to keep the federated data current.
• Schema mapping — Bildstak's connector framework introspects the JSON response structure and maps it to the federation layer, making the fields queryable via the AI chat and report builder.
• Security — all outbound requests go through an SSRF guard that validates URLs before they are called, so misconfigured endpoints cannot be used to reach internal infrastructure.
